Ace 10# Bag, formulated to melt ice faster and resist re-freezing, reducing the need for additional applications. Improved custom blend optimizes melting performance. melts ice down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit/-23 degrees Celsius. Safer for pets and vegetation, when applied as directed. Contains sodium chloride, MG-104 and Magnesium Chloride for better performance and environmental care. Safer to handle gentler on skin. Easier and faster sell-through. APPLICATION: Always spread Ace Ice Melter evenly. Do not over-apply or allow to clump. For every square year, apply ¾ cup (7 ounces) of Ace Ice Melter. For best performance remove slush and water. Reapply whenever necessary. CAUTION: READ BEFORE APPLYING TO CONCRETE AND OTHER SURFACES! Ace Ice Melter is designed to be safer for quality-grade, air-entrained cold-weather concretes. Nevertheless, factors like age, severity of weather, quality-of-mix and curing process may contribute to surface degradation. If in doubt as to the quality of your surface, consult a concrete professional. STORAGE: Store unused product in a dry area; seal container tightly. Do not store where leaking of contents can cause damage. Refrain for using any ice melting product on questionable surfaces: Concrete less than one-year old; pre-cast, stamped or pre-stressed concrete; concrete that is weathered, spalled, cracked, shipped or displays otherwise exposed aggregate; brick or stone; pre-cast steps; mortar joints. Use of Ace Ice Melter exaggerates freezing and thawing cycles. The resultant stresses may damage sub-standard surfaces. Such damage may be minimized by sealing surface prior to application and by timely removal of resultant slush. Nevertheless, it is recommended to weigh the safety benefits of non-slip surfaces over the risks of what may result in minor or cosmetic damage.
